What the service is

lovspor consists of the website lovspor.no and the hosted lovverk service at https://lovspor.no/mcp, which gives AI tools access to the text of Norwegian statutes and central regulations. It is run by Bartosz Kobyliński as a private individual and is free of charge. By using it you accept these terms.

Not legal advice

lovspor provides the text of law for reference; it does not provide legal advice. The text may contain errors, miss provisions or be out of date, and what an AI model answers using the service as a source is the model's own answer. Check against the original source before relying on the text, and seek legal help when something is at stake.

No warranty

The service is provided as is, without any warranty that it is correct, complete or available. It may be changed, limited or shut down without notice.

Lovdata and licences

The legal text comes from Lovdata's open data and is licensed under NLOD 2.0. You may reuse it on the licence's terms, with attribution. lovspor is not affiliated with or endorsed by Lovdata. The source code of lovspor is open under AGPL-3.0: lovspor.

Accounts, tokens and fair use

Your sign-in and your token are personal; do not share them. Every user and every token has quotas — limits on concurrent calls, calls per minute, calls per day and semantic searches per day — and the service as a whole has its own limits; see the documentation. Do not try to get around the quotas, overload the service or use it in a way that keeps others from using it. Accounts and tokens that are misused or threaten the operation of the service may be suspended or revoked.

Changes and governing law

These terms may change; the date at the top shows when they last changed. Norwegian law governs these terms.
